Art Amolsch is Editor Emeritus of FTC:WATCH.

Art first came to Washington, DC in 1972 as a Foreign Service Officer with United States Department of State. In 1972, he left the State Department to work for then President Nixon- first as Chief Speech Writer for the Committee for the Reelection of the President and then later as the Deputy Press Secretary for the 1973 Presidential Inaugural Committee.

Art served as Director of Public Information at the Federal Trade Commission from 1973-1976 until he left public service to create FTC:WATCH.

In addition to his editorial work with FTC:WATCH, Art has served as an Advisory Board Member for the American Antitrust Institute since 2001.
