Ken Adams focuses on litigation strategy and the resolution of complex disputes. Before founding Adams Holcomb, he was a senior litigation partner at the law firm of Dickstein Shapiro LLP.  For more than 30 years he concentrated on litigating and resolving the most complex, multifaceted disputes the firm was called upon to handle.  He is ranked in the 2007 and 2008 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading individual in the area of Antitrust for the District of Columbia. In 2006,  Adams was named one of The Best Lawyers in America in antitrust law and was listed in Lawdragon's Leading Lawyers.  In 2005 he was selected by his peers and by the Legal Times of Washington as the leading antitrust lawyer in Washington, DC. Adams is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court for Berlin, and has practiced before state and federal courts throughout the United States. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer, and has chaired national conferences. He was one of a small number of private practitioners invited to participate with state and federal court judges in a two-day conference addressing innovative means for resolving mass tort cases. Adams earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University (1967) and his law degree at the University of Chicago Law School (1970).
