On December 7th, Slade Bond will deliver the keynote remarks during the luncheon for the American Antitrust Institute's Airline Roundtable.
Since January 2017, Bond has served as Chief Democratic Counsel for the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary's Subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law, U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary. He has overseen more than 25 hearings and eight markups in issues primarily involving antitrust and administrative law. He previously served as Democratic Counsel for the Committee beginning in March of 2014, handling competition and regulatory policy, including hearings and legislation concerning administrative law, arbitration, net neutrality, and oversight of the Justice Department.
AAI's 3rd Annual Airline Roundtable,"Broadening the Lens on Airline Competition," will bring experts in antitrust and regulation from government, industry, advocacy, and academia together to discuss major competition issues facing the airline industry and consumers of air travel. Evolving enforcement issues, regulatory initiatives, and legislative proposals make this an especially timely program.
